CDC Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response This website, sponsored by the Center ofr Disease Control, provides information about chemical and biological agents, press releases, training, contacts,and other important information dealing with the public health aspects of bioterrorism.
Center for Civilian Biodefense Studies Sponsored by Johns Hopkins University, this website provides up-to-date information on the biological agents of greatest concern and explores ways to prevent and respond to their use on civilians. This site serves as a repository for relevant news, conferences, background reading, and other bioterrorism related resources.
Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) This website reports on the agency's support for assessing and improving the U.S. health care systems capacity to respond to possible incidents of bioterrorism. The $5 million initiative focuses on clinical preparedness of health care providers and health care systems, is part of a broad effort by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and other Federal agencies against bioterrorism.
