Digital Radiography

Dantini Dental is committed to limiting patient exposure to X-rays to the absolute lowest possible during examinations. Digital Radiography is the newest tool for routine x-ray analysis. It creates x-rays with 1/3 the normal radiation and displays the x-ray image on a computer screen within seconds. This not only reduces the wait for conventional x-rays to be developed, but eliminates the environmental impact of the chemical solutions that would be required. Our unit is made by Dexis and the sensor is manufactured by Rockwell (the aerospace company). All images are stored on our file server and this x-ray capability is available in all of our treatment rooms.
