Custom Crowns

The CEREC2 is a high-tech instrument that helps restore damaged teeth. This CAD/CIM machine makes crowns and inlays from solid blocks of ceramic. Most of the time, a crown can be made in one day and often during the same appointment. A very sophisticated infrared optical sensor takes the "impression" obtaining an accurate image of the prepared tooth. Then, the computer, with guidance from the operator, designs, and mills the crown or "filling".
