Sterilization

Dantini Dental makes every effort to assure that our dental instruments are sterile. In this regard, we use three sterilization methods – a steam autoclave, a dry heat sterilizer and a chemical bath.

The steam autoclave is the sterilization gold standard. It subjects instruments to 250 degrees of heat and 15 pounds of pressure. All of our instruments are scrubbed or ultrasonically cleaned, bagged, and then put through the steam autoclave. Each bag has a strip that signals when the proper sterilization conditions have been met.
